Maxus | Senior Digital Planner
Description
We are hiring a Senior Digital Planner to assist in planning and implementing successful digital campaigns based on clients’ business objectives.
You will be working with the Client Lead and Digital Manager to manage a set of clients and propose digital strategies across the full digital mix including Display, Mobile, Social & SEM to drive great results for our local & regional clients.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Client Lead and Digital Manager.

Measures of success –
In three months:
- You should be familiar with our proprietary tools & standard industry tools
- You should be able to come up with media recommendations, in consultation with the Digital Manager and handle day-today client queries on the media recommendations
- You should understand and be able to handle the internal processes in Maxus in terms of planning, invoicing etc
In six months:
- You should have presented media recommendations to clients face-to-face
- You should have met all the clients that you work with, gained a fair knowledge of your clients’ businesses and understand how they work
- You should have built a comfortable rapport with your team members and your clients
In 12 months:
- You should have gained full knowledge/overview on your clients’ businesses, and know what works in order to achieve the clients’ business objectives
- You should have planned and executed at least 10 client campaigns independently
- You should have participated in new business pitches
Responsibilities of the role:
- Day-to-day client servicing and relationship management
- Digital & social display campaign planning, implementation and optimisation, along with integration with the wider comms
- Deployment of best-in-market targeting & tracking tools
- Extract, report & analyse clients’ digital campaign performance
What you will need:
- Graduate degree relating to business/marketing/communication.
- 1-2 years’ experience in media planning / digital media, preferably in a media agency
- Experience and knowledge on SEM is a plus
- Experience with adserving tools such as Sizmek & Double Click
- Rigorous & comfortable with numbers
- Great knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
- Comfortable with meeting clients & great presentation skills
- Passionate about media & digital media
- You are a team player with good interpersonal skills and you thrive in an energetic and fast paced environment.
