As the Senior Account Director, you will be dedicated to servicing the world largest client in IT industry, including communication plan development and account management in general.

You’ll champion dynamic thinking and faultless execution within the team, and be an ambassador for Maxus, ensuring our very best collaborative strategic and executional planning process and practices are delivered consistently.

Alongside client responsibilities, you will develop and nurture the cross-discipline team, creating energy and strong sense of shared focus while also managing the careers and talent growth with individuals in the team.

You’ll have a proven track record of client leadership in a media agency or related communications business.
(the ideal candidate will already be Account/Business Director, or equivalent level)

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Country Head/Client Partner of Maxus Korea.

Measures of success

In three months:

  • Been ‘the client inside’ representing your client’s interests in Maxus and ensure exceptional service delivery across their business
  • Been exposed to all related stakeholders, and you will start Portfolio account planning , Strategic direction/coordination and Client servicing/relationship building
  • Demonstrated real enthusiasm for your clients’ businesses and brands. Being an ambassador for Maxus and media within their organizations

In six months:

  • Lead, inspire and motivate your team, Ensure that your every member works in a professional manner with all stakeholders both internal and external
  • Champion a mindset of award-winning work and produce case studies by collaborating with the region and the global MKT team

In 12 months:

  • Champion excellent communications planning across the client business, overseeing the output of the cross-discipline team to ensure first-class application of the Maxus product
  • Built collaborative relationships with clients of all levels and drive integration with the partner agency, Essence 

Responsibilities of the role:

This position’s responsibilities will be

Delivery of client servicing in quality & relationship building with all level of clients

Develop portfolio account planning, implementation and performance tracking across multi-media channels

Leading the dedicated account team with clear strategic direction

Assist Client Partner to manage the entire team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders 

What you will need:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean
  • Sufficient knowledge and experience on Korea media landscape in general and proficient understanding about digital media and measurements
  • Being the agency figurehead on all your client business, bring all facets of the Maxus offering together to produce fist class overall Maxus output
  • Ability to get on the front foot; ensure that all client manifestos are met and develop new opportunities to discuss with clients
  • Business leadership to suggest and develop new revenue streams / new ways of working
  • Curiosity to explore all avenues of information to achieve results with research, trends and data on markets, customers and culture
  • Basic understanding on analytics
