Executive - Media Planning
Description
Maxus is seeking for an up-and-coming media professional responsible for day-to-day implementation planning, and management of client within the designated team.
Your primary task is to develop and activate the living plan within the agency. You will achieve this through excellence in output, the development of relationships and a thorough understanding of our own product.
You will be contributing to the financial, commercial and reputation aspects of the organization where you not only engage in your area of expertise but also touch on offerings across different platforms in your role as a Planner.

This role reports to the Group Head.

Measures of success –
In three months:
- Demonstrate understanding of the media landscape and business challenges
- Thorough understanding of your product portfolio
- Make huge plans and manage media monies – full responsibility on the campaign, end to end
- Developed strong client & agency relationships and become the go to person
- Able to propose ideas and activities to answer identified challenges
- Achieve close to independent operation with least supervision. (identify need, formulate idea into plan, set the scope and present to the Manager)
- Making and evaluating plans
- Controlling media spends & implementing the campaign
- Monitor & report on the campaign, basically have full accountability of your campaigns
- Compliance against internal Audit
- Usage of Maxus tools for strategy & planning rationale building
- Brainstorm, Ideate & keep track of media opportunities in the market, with a brand fit & mke suitable recommendations
- Winning Internal & external Recognition for work delivered
- Ensure regular reporting is delivered on time and accurately and measured based on agreed KPIs and media efficiencies
- Help team with market intelligence & structured data reporting in order to strengthen the brand/portfolio AOP
- Efficacy on day to day Job, data management and training
- Develop and build relationships with clients, acting as first point of contact on account requirements
- Develop strong working relationship with key agency and media partners. This will include acting as the first point of contact for operational issues
What you will need:
Planning & Strategy
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a media Agency or media owner
- Knowledge of media planning tools and concepts
- Great knowledge of excel and PowerPointCommunication
- Persuasive and logical communicator
- Highly analytical thinker with ability to apply thinking to “real life” situations
