Description
You will be the expert in the overall planning team who has depth experience and knowledge in e-commerce business and act as the consultant to the largest category of a prestigious international FMCG company on building their e-commerce business in the complex market across multiple e-commerce platforms, include but not limited to Taobao, Tmall, JD, YHD.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Digital Planning Director, Beauty Category in MediaCom Guangzhou.

Measures of success –
In three months:
- Demonstrated understanding of the business challenges and clients’ requirements on e-commerce.
- Get familiar with different opportunities owned by different e-commerce channels.
- Led in creation of the e-commerce strategy for client.
In six months:
- Formed a trust between our account teams and the brand teams.
- Developed e-commerce opportunities for client
- Led and sold e-commerce opportunities to clients in close collaboration with the account team.
In 12 months:
- Be able to independently propose e-commerce overall strategy to meet clients’ requirements
Responsibilities of the role:
- Customize e-commerce marketing strategy for client across e-commerce platforms include but not limited to Taobao, Tmall, JD, YHD
- Bridge to integrate client’s e-commerce strategy into their marketing portfolios that enable the clients to expand their business online or leverage the various online shopping/ group buy/ C2C/ B2C to run impactful campaigns with trackable performance.
- Analyze competitor’s market strategy, promotion and operation according to market trend and data to optimize the e-commerce campaign.
- Coordinate and manage e-commerce vendors.
What you will need:
- More than 5 years’ experience in e-commerce in brand company or E-shop operation
- Deep knowledge and experience in the operation of Taobao, Tmall and other e-commerce platform.
- Good communication and team management skills.
- Professional English presentation and proposal writing is a plus
