Vocanic is looking for a Colombo-­based UX and UI DESIGNER to join our award-winning creative team. You will be working on social media content design, desktop and mobile interfaces, and other digital layouts for a wide range of clients across the Asia­ Pacific region

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Regional Creative Director

Measures of success –

In three months:

• learned the brand guidelines and tone of voice of all your local clients

In six months:

• created at least a handful of high engagement deliverables
• a good number of social applications on different social platforms;

In 12 months:

• already started creating and proposing ideas directly to the client;

Responsibilities of the role:

• Conceptualization and execution of social media content, digital layouts, desktop and mobile user interfaces, mainly for digital touchpoints, to meet our brief requirements;

• Coordinate and dynamically communicate with our local and regional creative teams, the local account managers, project managers and clients alike
• assure all your tasks and deliverables meet the brief's expectations and the expectations of our clients in terms of creativity, design quality and timely delivery

What you will need:

• Good English (spoken and written)
• Diploma in Graphic Design / Mass Comms / Digital Design / Interactive Media, or equivalent
• Relevant experience in graphic or digital design function
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other design tools
• Experience in startups/advertising/digital agencies is beneficial
• Basic drawing skills a plus
