Role Overview:

Communication Planning is relatively new in Asia. Traditionally, clients have not seen the need for this higher and broader level of thinking and engagement with their respective brands. However, as our markets and marketing continue to evolve, we’ve recognised that this functional expertise will become paramount to our ongoing success and that of our clients.
This role is for the lead communication planner sitting within Maxus South Korea Team in Seoul, with a primary focus on leading international clients and connecting into the local client team(s) to ensure we deliver an integrated response every time.

About Maxus
Maxus Global is an international media agency within the WPP / GroupM network. We are the fastest growing agency within the group and we have huge ambitions to continue to grow and develop innovative and engaging 21st century communications ideas for our clients. Born in the digital era our expertise in media, technology, data, effectiveness and strategy is well established and always evolving as the media landscape continues to change.
We still enjoy all the benefits of a smaller challenger brand agency culture but as part of GroupM (WPP’s amalgamated media agency resource) Maxus reaps all the positive benefits of a large agency network and our appointment by large clients such as Huawei, Barclays Google and L’Oréal is testament to this.
What you can expect from Maxus
Our philosophy at Maxus is Leading Change. This simply means that we are in the business change. We often accelerate its pace by continually discovering, evaluating and delivering new techniques to navigate the media landscape. As a young agency, we have an unfair advantage in today’s highly complex media environment, and are the only network designed around change. We believe our approach allows people to develop a wide range of skills which enable them to have more intelligent conversations with clients about the entire communication process. In an increasingly fragmented media landscape, we consider this essential.
About GroupM
GroupM Korea is the leading global media investment management operation in Korea. It serves as the parent company to WPP media agencies, Maxus, MediaCom, MEC and MindShare.
Its primary purpose is to maximize the performance of WPP’s media communications agencies on behalf of our clients, our shareholders and our people by operating as a parent and collaborator in performance-enhancing activities such as trading, content creation, sports, digital, finance, proprietary tool development and other business-critical capabilities. The agencies that comprise GroupM are all global operations in their own right with leading market positions.
The focus of GroupM is the intelligent application of physical and intellectual scale to benefit trading, innovation, and new communication services.
GroupM APAC is committed to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion. Our people are our strength so we respect and nurture their individual talent and potential.
