Mindshare is seeking a vibrant and experienced media professional with at least 3-5 years of experience in Media Planning. In this role, you should have a thorough knowledge of the media marketplace and an innovative approach in use of media, research and presentation techniques.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to Director - The Exchange.

Measures of success –
In three months,
- You will start working on client specific reports and learn to use various industry & proprietary studies from a media owner perspective
- You will have obtained a good understanding of client (media owner) business issues
- You will have started to build relationships with internal stakeholders
In six months,
- You will come up with faster and better methods for doing periodic reports
- You will enhance the quality of existing reports based on client feedback and your learnings from different projects
- You will start building your relationship with the client
In twelve months,
- You will input into new business pitches by identifying opportunities to create new products/reports
Responsibilities of the role:
- Ensure that approved contract deliverables are created and sent as per the engagement calendar
- Address all day-to-day ad hoc queries from the client
- Arrive at actionable solutions using secondary data analysis (BARC /IRS /RAM /TAM /TGI /groupM tools etc) and by drawing upon media planning experience.
- Collate knowledge from different groupM agencies & trading teams
- To provide quality analysis with action points for category competitive reports for clients
- To provide mid-campaign evaluation and take corrective action as required to ensure that campaign deliverables are met
- To alert client timely if there is likely to be a campaign delivery shortfall and take course corrective action in alignment with client
What you will need:
- 3-5 years of media experience with a mix of media planning/buying/research or channel strategy /insights experience
- Strong media software expertise – BARC/TAM, IRS, MAP, TGI, Comscore, RAM etc.
- Attention to detail : ability to spot trends and provide compelling insights through data analysis
- Strong functional media knowledge with ability to consider media issues from a media-owner perspective; being updated with broad media trends
- Ability to interact with people from a wide cross-section to get pertinent information
