Position at Mindshare

Reporting of this role: Head of Strategic Planning. 

 The Strategic Planning Manager will be responsible for developing investment allocation strategies, recommending top-down budgets for a category’s cells (brands, countries, activities).  He/She will manage the key category client interface, building relationships with the respective category teams. 

 There are 3 main areas of focus:

  1. Identify investment priorities that will bring incremental business growth to the categories as a result of smart choices – which brands, in which countries and which activities.
  2. Manage the relationship with the Brand Builders in terms of budget reconciliation (AIM to MAC).
  3. Generating insightful reports/documents/presentations that go to the Category Teams.  Ensure that these documents deliver valued-add and insight into both the performance of Unilever Brands/Categories as well as the defined competitive set. 

  Measures of success – In 3 months, you would have:

  • Started to build relationships with the key decision makers within the client and agency organisations

In 6 months, you would have:

  • Proven yourself as a reliable point of contact for client stakeholders

In 12 months, you would have:

  • To anticipate what is needed to stay on track to secure, grow and solidifying client relations, and to take action appropriately

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 year strategic media experiences
  • Good team work and presentation skill
  • Willingness to learn
  • Effective communication and client presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills in Thai and English
