Position at MediaCom

You will be responsible for ensuring the management and implementation of the e-commerce communication within a true end-to-end marketing solution for one of the world leading FMCG client. You will manage all biddable media platforms and media placements on selected e-commerce sites.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Head of e-commerce in MediaCom Guangzhou.

Measures of success –

In three months:

  • Understood the complete biddable media scenario and media placement on client’s e-business, e.g. Tmall, JD, YHD, etc..
  • Handled day to day tasks / requirement effectively.
  • Lead your team and have a clear work process implemented in the team

In six months:

  • Optimized implementation in all biddable media platforms
  • Recommended and implemented best practice.
  • Explored and executed an innovation in one of the biddable media platforms.
  • Created training and development plan for team members

In 12 months:

  • Exceed client expectations in terms of biddable media implementation.
  • Create a road-map for the next year.
  • Grow your team members’ capabilities.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Customize e-commerce marketing strategy for client across e-commerce platforms include but not limited to Tmall, JD, YHD
  • Bridge to integrate client’s e-commerce strategy into their marketing portfolios that enable the clients to expand their business online or leverage the various online shopping/ group buy/ C2C/ B2C to run impactful campaigns with trackable performance
  • Analyse competitor’s market strategy, promotion and operation according to market trend and data to optimize the e-commerce campaign.
  • Coordinate and manage e-commerce vendors.
  • Lead a team of ecom experts.

What you will need:

  • More than 5 years’ experience in e-commerce in brand company or E-shop operation.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the operation of Taobao, Tmall and other e-commerce platforms.
  • Good communication and team management skills.
  • Detail oriented, responsive to deadlines and able to multitask.
  • Good command of English is an advantage.
