Description
GroupM Connect is seeking a copywriter. The role will work with exciting people from creative, social media and content creation team and in charge for copy creation and supervision for all the campaign across multi platform. The role must have a strong experience in terms of ideation and a sufficient knowledge on creating a creative digital strategy. A knowledge experience in the production process of banner, digital video and website will be a plus point. You will also handle some of the region’s most exciting brands to propel our clients’ social and digital strategies to the next level of success.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Creative Head

Measures of success –
In three months:
- Understood GroupM Connect core proposition
- Demonstrated understanding of the client challenges and content requirements
- Taken on copywriting needs for key client projects and campaigns
- Have met and started to build relationships with key clients
- Built strong internal relationships across creative, account servicing and community management teams
In six months:
- Be overseeing and improving the output of social community managers
- Have demonstrated the ability to conceptualize; taking a client brief and responding with compelling, on-point ideas
- Have demonstrated excellent communication skills and a willingness to be ‘in the trenches’ with extended teams
- Actively contributing to GroupM Connect growth through involvement in new business pitches, projects and product development
In twelve months:
- Be leading the copywriting output for GroupM Connect; setting and maintaining a high standard for all copy assignments
- Be regularly attending client meetings with account managers/directors, leading and influencing ideation and recommendations
Responsibilities of the role:
- Writing copy for digital solutions and campaigns
- Conceptualizing and creating creative presentations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including client servicing and tech
- Staying up to date with social, digital, and technology trends
- Contributing to product development and evolution

Industry Background & Skills
- 3-7 years of copywriting experience in advertising, digital marketing, social media or publishing.
- Strong conceptual skills with knowledge of how copy relates to art, design, graphics and typography
- Excellent communication, organizational, attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Aptitude to function within deadlines, while working both independently and as part of a team
