Overview of job
As the Senior SEM Specialist, you will be dedicated to servicing both existing clients and supporting new business initiatives, including pitch development and proposal presentations. Your primary responsibility will be to grow and maintain Maxus SEM projects, as well as supporting other GroupM agency clients as demand requires. Your secondary emphasis will be on forthcoming new business.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Search Manager.

Measures of success
In three months:
- Ability to manage day-to-day SEM performance optimization and implementation
- Become a trusted team member to ensure efficient SEM plan which is well integrated with the overall digital media strategy
In six months:
- Have the ability to independently manage SEM campaigns with little supervision
- Be able to proactively propose SEM planning solutions to drive high performance results for the business
In 12 months:
- Develop a SEM planning recommendation independently
- Handle the implementation process independently
- Present the performance review and evaluation deck to client
Responsibilities of the role:
- Client facing and work close with other planning teams to establish and achieve specific media goals and objectives
- Ensuring client campaigns are budgeted accurately and include up to date SEM best practices.
- Plan, develop and execute efficient performance driven plan
- Monitor and optimize the results of SEM campaigns as well as provide reports with insights and suggested optimizations on SEM planning
- Work closely with dynamic and international team members to meet tight deadlines
What you will need:
- Minimum of 2 -3 years’ experience in a progressive digital planning / SEM agency
- Proficient in data study and passionate in developing career in digital performance planning
- Report to the SEM Manager directly with the support of an executive in daily operation
- Good in people and client communications skills
- Must speak fluent Cantonese and be eligible to work in Hong Kong
