Overview of job
MediaLab is looking for a Digital Manager to work in a bespoke agency for the Westpac Banking Group. In a very unique digital consultative role, you will work closely with the client media, strategy and product teams to deliver digital outcomes across a range of Westpac brands.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Digital Director

Measures of success –
In three months:
- Built strong relationships with the client, publishers and tech providers within the digital ecosystem
- Developed strong working relationships with cross-functionally with internal teams (digital/traditional media)
- Good knowledge of Westpac’s business and products
- Planning and delivering client campaigns, across display, video and social
In six months:
- Motivated, coached and inspired your team to ensure they are constantly being developed, producing best in class work.
- Developed trust from the client and is perceived as a digital leader within their business.
- Clearly understand Westpac’s business and how digital can help push their business forward.
In 12 months:
- Improved the client outcomes, having shaped the progress of digital initiatives throughout the year
- Built processes to help streamline workflows and improve the value of the agency output
- Be an important digital leader in the agency, driving thought leadership and digital passion within the agency.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Leading campaign delivery, from campaign planning with the Media Lab planning team through to campaign implementation across a range of tech environments
- Works collaboratively with the wider Westpac team to drive performance across digital campaigns.
- Ensures high quality, insightful and regular reports are delivered to the client.
- Building processes within the agency, streamlining workflows within and across teams while driving the highest quality output.
- Drives leadership across the team, with the ability to influence in a positive manner, both internally and externally.
- Lead publisher relationships, ensuring that media owners are aligned with campaign and agency objectives
What you will need:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in digital media, particularly display and programmatic.
- Experience managing people
- Understanding of the Australian media landscape.
- Experience with working with 3rd party media vendors
- Strong presentation skills
- Proven ability in client relationship management
- Demonstration of excellent attention to detail
- Good knowledge of data targeting, technology, tracking, measuring and analytics.
