OOH Media planner cum buyer is responsible for thinking creatively and coming up with innovative strategies to ensure their OOH plans reach the right target audience in the most effective way possible. They should be able to assess and analyze the impact and suitability of different types of OOH platforms for targeting a specific market that their client wants to reach.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the GroupM Head-of-Out-of-Home

Measures of success –
In three months:
- Understand clients/brands OOH planning and buying behaviour
- Perform planning/buying functions with minimum supervision
In six months:
- Can coordinate and attend brand/agency briefing on her/his own
- Independent planning/buying capability
In 12 months:
- Can help look and explore potentials for OOH only clients
- Ability to assess/evaluate/identify excellent trading opportunities
Responsibilities of the role:
Having a clear understanding of clients and brands’ marketing and OOH media objectives and strategies is key. Working independently and later on supporting the team by successfully identifying potential revenue generating opportunities are expected from the successful candidate for this position.
What you will need:
- It is important to have an OOH media planning /buying background even if only for a short period of at least one to two years from an agency
- The candidate should have extensive knowledge on the lists of both site and production vendors in Metro Manila and provincial areas
- Should be able to present and defend plans to clients and agencies. Willing to sort out granular details. Highly capable of multi-tasking and massive coordination among vendors, agency teams, clients, etc. Highly analytical and excellent in doing ppt. decks and xl sheets.
- Integrity is everything – good reputation in the OOH industry a must.
