Media Coordinator
Description
MediaCom is looking for a Media Assistant to join our team in Melbourne. You will be responsible for supporting the executives (and the team) on all aspects of the media buying and planning process.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Executive and Manager of the team.

Measures of success –
In three months:
- Assist and support the team on requests
- Checking bookings confirms and media proforma's
- End of month invoicing accuracy checking
- Mastered BMD media booking loadings and well as material nominations
In six months:
- Experienced practice of the MediaCom tools
- Mastered client reporting and tracking of booked media
In 12 months:
- Confidence and precision in updating media schedules
- An understanding of how to construct a media campaign
- A solid understanding of the media planning and buying principles
- Eventual ownership of small clients including their budget management
Responsibilities of the role:
- Assist CCP and A&I Executives and Managers in all aspects of planning the media.
- Develop understanding in the principles of planning media.
- Build relationships with other Mediacom pillars and media owners.
- Responsible for updating media schedules from correspondence with client with support of CCP & A&I Executives.
- Track all positioning and placement of media to ensure that they match with bookings.
- Construction of basic client reporting documents; post analysis, WIP sheets, etc.
- Understanding of how to approach/construct a media schedule/campaign.
- Develop budget management skills for all executions. I.e. All budgets match brief.
- Be proficient in the use and understanding of planning and buying tools.
- Supports their team and department on any requests.
- Eventual ownership of small clients
