The Opportunity
The Health eCareers Associate Manager of Event Planning needs to be experienced with most aspects of planning career fair events; from creative design and planning to full production and execution. Additionally this role requires the candidate to have the conceptual, technical, marketing, communication, and project management skills to contribute to career fair experiences
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all aspects of pre-event planning, onsite/online execution, and post event follow-up and
- reporting for assigned partners.
- Plan multiple events from beginning to end, often simultaneously.
- Liaise with vendors, partners, stakeholders, and publicity in order to plan a successful event.
- Ability to work within a budget.
- Develop and manage lists for events that target the appropriate audiences for each project.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments and produce events for a variety of internal groups.
- Process paperwork for events (i.e. contracts, payments, etc).
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in event planning preferred, experience in Healthcare and/or Nursing a
- plus.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Flexible schedule and able to travel as needed.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- High energy, engaging, and a team player with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- A creative thinker and resourceful problem solver.
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time, depending on season (once in-person events commence).
